The Jewish Museum of Greece
The Jewish Museum of Greece was established in 1977 to keep alive the culture of the Greek Jews. The Museum is a treasure trove of archives, valuable items, photographic and diverse material pertaining to the religious and domestic life as well as the historical course and action of the Greek Jews.
In the museum the visitors can see a whole synagogue transferred from the city of Patras, inscriptions and documents that signify the active presence and involvement of jewish population in Greek history for over twenty centuries.
Also the visitor can see various clothes, jewelry, religious symbols and artifacts and several other things related to the every day life of the jewish communities in Greece.
